Accessibility Statement — Rabbi Ben Zion Nissan's website

This English version is provided for convenience only. The Hebrew version is the binding text.

We invest considerable effort in making the site accessible so that people with disabilities can also enjoy a comfortable, accessible browsing experience. In accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and its regulations, we place great importance on providing equal and respectful service to all our visitors and customers.

1. The site's level of accessibility

This site is made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard SI 5568 at level AA. That standard is based on the international WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines at this conformance level.

2. Accessibility adjustments made on the site

As part of making the site accessible, the following adjustments were made:

Keyboard navigation: Full support for navigating the site with the keyboard alone — the Tab key moves between elements and Enter selects — including a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page that jumps straight to the main content when navigating by keyboard.

Screen-reader support: The site is adapted for screen readers, including the correct page language and text direction, alternative text for images and products, and a correct hierarchical heading structure (one main H1, followed by H2 and H3 in proper order).

Visual adjustments: The site maintains a high, compliant color contrast between text and background (at least 4.5:1) and remains fully functional when the font is enlarged in the browser (up to 200%).

Accessible forms: Clear labels on every field of the contact forms, with visible and distinct focus rings for keyboard navigation, and audible and visual guidance to prevent errors.

Visible focus: All links, buttons and form fields show a clear, visible focus ring when navigating by keyboard, as required by WCAG 2.4.7.

No flashing: The site contains no flashing, popping or rapidly animated elements that could disturb visitors.

3. Accessibility coordinator and accessibility inquiries

Despite our efforts to make every page and element accessible, some parts may not yet be accessible or may not be fully adapted. If you have difficulty navigating or reading the information on the site, or have a suggestion for improving accessibility, we will be glad to help.
